Powerbox Home Energy Storage Project in Romania
Project Background
Under the Romanian government's strong policy support for renewable energy, residential PV and energy storage systems are rapidly being adopted. Supported by national subsidy programs, the homeowner aimed to deploy a PV–storage solution to enhance household energy self-sufficiency and reduce long-term electricity costs.
Project Overview
This project is equipped with 10.6 kWp of high-efficiency solar modules, combined with one Essis SUN-10 inverter and an Essis Powerbox 5.1 residential energy storage battery, forming a complete integrated PV and energy storage system.The system features an IP65 protection rating and supports both wall-mounted and floor-standing installation. Its compact, space-saving design allows it to integrate seamlessly into modern residential environments.


Customer Value
After commissioning, the system enabled efficient self-consumption of solar energy and ensured continuous power supply during nighttime and grid outage scenarios. With intelligent energy control, the household achieved more stable energy usage and improved resilience against electricity price fluctuations.This project not only optimized the user's overall energy experience, but also fully demonstrated the stability and long-term reliability of the Essis system in Romania's residential energy storage applications.
