Solar + Storage System Ensures Stable Power Supply for Office Building in Yemen

Project Background

In Yemen, power outages are a daily occurrence—the grid is unstable and highly inconsistent. Office lights often turn on only to flicker out moments later, repeatedly interrupting work. To restore a normal and reliable working environment, the customer sought a stable and sustainable power solution through solar and energy storage.

Project Overview

The project integrates two Essis 100 kWh energy storage systems with two 50 kW Solis hybrid inverters, achieving balanced power configuration and efficient performance in grid/off-grid switching, peak shaving, and energy dispatch. The 128 kWp PV array, built with 710 W high-efficiency modules, delivers higher energy yield per unit area, continuously charges the storage system, and significantly improves the levelized cost of energy. With daytime PV priority supply, intelligent charge–discharge management, and rapid response during grid instability, the system ensures reliable, around-the-clock operation of the office building.

Project Value

Relying on a complete solar energy storage system, the continuous operation of lighting, air conditioning, and network equipment ensures that employees do not have to worry about sudden blackouts or internet disconnections while working. This creates a more stable and secure office experience, significantly improves energy utilization efficiency, and achieves self-consumption of generated energy and energy independence.
